Morning

I'm up too early this morning; these antibiotics are kicking my ass.  I came down with a weird inflammation of the eyelid, and on Friday I went to an ophthalmologist.  He loaded me up with these terrible drugs, but they are doing the job.  The inflammation had gone down, and the worst is definitely over, though the eye is still irritated.  Luckily, this never affected my vision.  It just made me look like my girlfriend beat me up.

My 12th graders are already in their last week of school.  This is difficult to believe, as the endless CAG orientations really didn't seem like they were so long ago.  My 11th graders go until mid-June, but at CAG, the last few weeks are devoted to senior projects and presentations.

As the days pass, I anticipate my return to Atitlan with much joy and anticipation.  Guatemala City is a powder keg going off at random intervals.  Besides, the travel every week  is draining, though one gets accustomed fairly quickly to almost anything.

Trying to keep up with my reading.  There is always so much to read, and so little time.....
