End of the Rainbow

Today is High School graduation at CAG, another year of teaching, but this one in a totally different environment.  Working with the PBA kids was a treat, and I am proud to see them graduating.
So, a rare weekend in Guatemala City, the absence of rain conspicuous all week long.
As I move out of my house, I am once again awed by the basic human tendency to accumulate stuff.  I hard ever buy anything, so I'm really not sure where it's all coming from!
Actually, I've bought plates, pots, a lamp, nightstand, etc., from teachers who are leaving.  So that's part of it.  My house at the lake is so small that I'm really not sure where a lot of this stuff is going to go.

Tomorrow I've got an interview with the American School of Marrakech, Morocco.  Been doing a little internet research into the situation there, even contacted a parent who's got a weblog, but I won't really find out anything until the interview.  I've got many reservations, and even more questions.  The information I've found so far does not cast the greatest light on the school.

My plan is to return to the lake on Wednesday.  Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..............
